Kenyon Homecare Consulting provides smarter solutions and better outcomes for the home health care industry. Working with Medicare-certified home health, hospice, private pay, and other home health care entities, we offer practical support to organizations as they diversify and expand.

GINNY KENYON

Owner & CEO

Ginny’s knowledge and passion for helping clients achieve success defines the mission of her company. Ginny holds a Master’s in nursing administration with minors in Business and Health Services. She has worked as an administrator in Public Health, Home Health, Hospice, and Private Duty home care for the last 27 years.


Ginny has a strong background in operations and program development through her experience with visiting nurse services, national home health companies, and through her work with investors in startup companies. She is also a nationally published home health author and speaker.


Ginny specializes in startup agencies as well as specialty education, strategic planning and executive coaching and mentoring.

Shelly L. Barrett, RN, MBA, BSN, ET, CWCN, LMT

Owner & CEO,  Peek Consulting

Shelly earned her bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Bowling Green State University and her MBA from the University of Northwest Ohio. She studied at the RJ Turnball School of Enterostomal Therapy where she became an ET nurse certified in wound care. She later became a licensed massage therapist after completing coursework at the Dayton School of Medical Massage.


Shelly has over 30 years in the hospice and home health industry, ranging from clinical hands-on care to senior management of an agency consisting of ten home health/hospice branches, two adult day facilities and two in-patient hospice centers, with private duty services out of all the branches/sub-units. As VP of Operations Shelly functioned as the chief clinical administrator of the agency.



Donna Grimm, RN, BA, MS, CHC

Senior Associate

Donna Grimm is a Graduate of Hamot Hospital School of Nursing, a Graduate of Heidelberg College with BA in psychology, and a Graduate of LaSalle University with a MS in Health Care Administration.


Donna's extensive range of experience includes two years as school nurse at Heidelberg College; two years as a nursing instructor at Bowling Green, Ohio; and two years as a vocational instructor for Health Occupations in Milan, Ohio.


She co-founded Community Health Professionals in Northwest Ohio and served for 35 years as CEO. By the time of her retirement, the agency had grown to 580 employees. It had become CHAP accredited, and had built three adult day care centers, and two in-patient hospice centers with nine branches and sub-units.


Donna served for two years as a site surveyor for CHAP while also working as an independent consultant. She served on the Ohio Council for Home Care for 23 years, on the National Association of Homecare and Hospice for eight years, and on the Board of Review for CHAP for nine years.

Sharon Fredrichs, RN, BSN, PHN, CPHQ

Co-Owner, S & S Consulting, LLC

Senior Associate

As a co-owner of S & S Consulting, Sharon brings more than thirty years of home health administrative and managerial experience to the Kenyon team.


She is a goal-oriented visionary leader—a change agent—with comprehensive knowledge of home health regulations, national standards of home care, as well as DPHS and JCAHO survey preparation, with home health, hospice, private duty, and home infusion pharmacy experience,


Sharon has a deep background in survey recovery, including plans of action, inter-disciplinary and inter-departmental education, and strategic development to sustain improvements.


Sharon has served as an interim manager and as executive of home health, hospice, and private duty agencies. She is also an experienced OASIS trainer.

Stephanie Phillips, MBA, RN

Co-Owner, S & S Consulting, LLC

Senior Associate

Stephanie is co-owner of S & S Consulting (with Sharon), which provides home health, private duty, and hospice care consulting services with the goal of developing leadership confidence and team autonomy.


Stephanie's long list of expertise and experience includes start-ups, pre- and post-survey consulting. accreditation preparation, education and training, administrative mentoring, program development and management and disease management.


She also guides the integration of home care services with managed care and insurance providers, physician relations, provides financial analysis and budget development, process analysis and development, interim management, quality management with tools, infection management and emergency preparedness, concierge patient/client travel escort service, and legal nurse consulting services.


Stephanie is connected to a multi-level network of qualified home care professionals specializing in interim management, organizational assessments, federal and state compliance, and emergency preparedness.
